MshenguX AI · forward-deployed engineering

Forward-deployed. Not advisory.

We do not hand you a slide deck about AI. We put an engineer inside your team who ships an agent into a real process, and stays until it runs.

Approach

What forward-deployed means.

The work happens inside your operation, on your systems, with your people, in weeks.

Most AI programmes stall between the pilot and the day the thing actually runs. The reasons are rarely technical. The process was not understood, the cost of running it was invisible, nobody owned the decision, and the people who do the work were never in the room.

A forward-deployed engineer changes the shape of the problem. One engineer, one process, one agent. They sit with the team that does the work today, build against the real cases, and leave behind something the team can run and change. The agent is measured by the process it improves, not by a demo.

MshenguX works this way because parts of MshenguX already run this way. The discipline came from operating agents in our own business before offering to build them in yours.

Vision

Every organisation will run on agents. The question is who owns the discipline.

Within a few years the routine work of finance, procurement, operations and service will be carried by agents. That is not a prediction about technology, it is a description of where the cost curve is already going. What is not settled is whether the organisations doing that work will own it, or rent it back from whoever built it.

Our vision is that African enterprises and public institutions run on agents they understand, on their own systems, held to their own rules, operated by their own people. Not black boxes. Not vendor lock-in dressed up as innovation.

So we build for handover, not dependence. Every engagement ends with the client's team able to run, audit and change what we built. Every agent carries a person in the loop for the decisions that matter, a log of what it did, and a visible cost. That is how autonomy earns trust in a bank, a mine or a government department, and it is the only way it scales.

We are a small firm from Centurion with a long view: to be the engineering partner that puts the continent's back offices onto agents, properly.

Principles

Four rules every agent we ship lives by.

01

Bounded by design

Limits on spend, scope and reach are built into the agent, not remembered by it. When a limit is hit, the agent stops and says so.

02

A person decides what matters

The agent reads, drafts, checks and prepares. A named human approves the actions with consequences. Autonomy grows only as trust is earned.

03

Everything is on the record

Every action lands in an append-only log the client owns. If it cannot be audited, it does not ship.

04

Cost you can see

What an agent costs to run is visible from the first day it runs, on the client's own account. No surprises after the pilot.

Engagement

Three stages. Fixed scope, fixed fee.

Stage 1

Readiness

One process mapped end to end, one agent scoped, the running cost modelled, the governance and data questions answered. A clear go or no-go.

two weeks · fixed fee
Stage 2

Production

The agent built inside your environment against real cases, put into production with its limits, log and cost dashboard, and handed over with a run-book.

six to eight weeks · fixed fee
Stage 3

Embedded

An engineer stays inside your team, shipping and operating the next agents with your people, until your team can do it without us.

Start

One process. One conversation.

Tell us the process that costs you the most people-hours. We will tell you honestly whether an agent belongs there.
